Not much excites me more than sewing for my littles. I basically started my business Chi Fashionista because I couldn’t get enough sewing for children! As a mom I also adore taking photographs of my children. I mean, what mother doesn’t? So pattern testing children’s patterns is a TOTAL thrill for me. I absolutely love getting picked to test for children’s patterns. When I first got a glimpse of the Wild Wide Leg Pants I knew I had to have them and I KNEW I had to make them in RockerByeDestash!
Well, the results are nothing short of stunning and I couldn’t be more pleased.
The Boy’s Wild Wide Leg pants have a very loose fit. In my opinion they tend to run a tad long but that just leaves more growing room. My son’s pants were cut to fit his short stature however, they still required the cuff to be folded up. HOWEVER, I love the look. Folded up or down the bottom of the pants look the same. And anything that helps me get more use is a win win in my book.
The Boy’s Wild Wide Leg Pants have optional drawstring, faux drawstring, or no drawstring. I opted for the faux drawstring. You can also choose to add side pockets to the pants. I chose not to include pockets because my son is two and doesn’t have much use for pockets. They sit low almost to the knees. It’s very modern hipster look and I LOVE IT.
The Wide Wide Leg pants are a super easy to sew and take less than 30 minutes from paper to completion. They make a great play pant or can even be dressed up for more fun look.
